Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

Early, for me, morning walk to catch the setting moon resulted in no moon. Instead I took a short walk around the allotment area to look for anything interesting. When I walked around I heard calls from birds and saw a group of birds coming my way. Thankfully I had the tele lens on my camera so I was able to catch the whooper swans flying by. I also found snowdrops and dried, what I think is, Granny's bonnet, and other dried flowers.
It was a nice way to start the morning, even if I was really tired walking around. Not sleepy tired, but energy/body tired.
I got a tip from a friend of mine that led me to more information of 'prolonged' covid. I think I now know why it's taken so long for me to get even the slightest bit better. It's important to take things slow and not push oneself, because then there will be backlashes. Since I didn't know this I've pushed on and gotten backlashes. Perhaps this knowledge will lead to a speedier recovery. Fingers crossed. :)

27. What small thing, that you see daily, are you grateful for?
I'm grateful for my iPhone which let me have contact with family and friends, take photos and more.
