A visit to a local beach between Motueka and Kaiteriteri, NZ, today for lunch and a walk along the beach to this rock. While it looks wintry, it was far from that with very warm temperatures, even without the sunny skies.



Breaking News 
- At 7.30pm the Government was notified of a positive Covid-19 in the Auckland community.
- At 9.00pm Jacinda announced Auckland would move into Alert Level 3 at 6am tomorrow morning for seven days
- The remainder of NZ will move to Alert Level 2

The PM said people who should have been in isolation haven't been, and this was a contributing factor in these cases.

The new case was potentially infectious since the 21st February and during this time continued with 'normal' life in the community.
