Distortion on the River Wey

We decided to take a drive to the historic town of Godalming today.

We parked in Shalford and walked along the canal to Godalming. A pleasant walk to clear our slightly fuzzy heads.

After a plate bending, delicious lunch in the Star Inn, we had a wander round the town and the small museum. Interesting to find out that Godalming was the home town of Jack Phillips , the wireless operator from the Titanic.

On our walk back to the car along the canal I took this shot. Can you tell what it is?
