Online Puppy Show
Gollum and I have done several online dog dancing competitions this winter, but today was puppy day!
Xmas and Tango took part in an Online Puppy Dog Dancing Show. We performed live via Facebook (live streaming) and the judge, Karen Sykes from England, wrote comments on each of the puppies' performances.
She wrote about Xmas:
"Xmas looked so alert and perky with his determined, busy movement. This eager little boy gave a delightful presentation of a faultless training round for a baby dog. We saw superb flow with the perfect amount of help and encouragement. Clear cues and timely appropriate rewards from Emmy produced a completely worthwhile and memorable experience for Xmas",
She wrote about Tango: .
"Tango presented himself beautifully with an easy, graceful movement and great presence. His attitude is happy, eager and agreeable teaming up with Emmy to produce a delightful and cooperative presentation with a super smooth flow. Kind encouragement and timely, appropriate rewards ensured that Tango was always keen to try his best throughout. An excellent training round which promises good things for the future of this team."
You can see a small bit of Xmas' performance here.
And a small bit of Tango's here.
There were 10 entries in all - all puppies under 12 mth. Xmas was the youngest. Tango was not the oldest.
The boys and I met with Helle for today's show and when we were done, the puppies got to play. My picture today is Mocca and Xmas playing with a tuggy toy, which they stole out of Tango's training bag.
Gollum was not performing at the Online Show today (as he is not a puppy), but Helle and I met early enough to have a training session with the adults (Gollum and Ex-it) first.
Happy weekend
