Lovely sunny day

I had a lovely stroll in the sunshine this lunchtime. Well, it was more of a stride out than a stroll as I needed to get out and back and leave myself time to eat before a meeting.

Lots of drama on campus today as people had to evacuate as a big WW2 bomb was unearthed on land adjacent to campus.  It sounds like they may deal with it tomorrow when they have moved enough people away.  Thankfully not all our students are back on campus.  Those that live in the student villages at that part of campus have been moved to hotels until it is all dealt with. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-56212295

Leo’s school is gearing up for the big return.  He has to go in and have a Covid test on Friday and provided that is clear he will be back at school the following Monday. Given that he hasn’t set foot outside much he is likely to get the all clear! Then he has to do two more tests in his first week back. After that it is home testing twice each week.
