Sunbathing Chamois in a Triangle of Light
Can you see them, high up on the ridge at about 2,700m? This is where the snow melts the quickest. Although they will have spent the coldest months lower down in the forest, as soon as there is prolonged sunshine they move up to enjoy the riches of the high altitude plants and enjoy the warmth of the sun. We also saw 2 sets of lynx tracks (extra) on the Diablerets glacier today, well I think they are. Just for fun I took photos of Helen’s ski goggles which turned the world golden. You can make out Diablerets Hut in them in extra too. A superb morning up high.
