Fritillary
I thought the fritillary was looking stunning with backlight, and I knew the light would move, so a quick dash for the camera with macro and this is what you get.
Beautiful sunshine today and some deep pink clouds just before sunset.
After the market, which I never got to because of chatting and taking photos, we stopped over in Colin's garden, suitably distanced. He doesn't get many visitors and he's had a bad time with a huge burst blister this week. He couldn't reach the surgery on the phone. Another friend took him down to 111. Whoever finally answered his call told him to call a pharmacy. The pharmacist told him he needed antibiotics which required a doctor's prescription.
He finally got sorted and then they ran out of dressings. Fortunately he is being seen daily now by a District Nurse.
Poached salmon for tea.
