Replacements

The boot on the left is about 6 years old, bought in a sale and worn to bits! They’ve been to Antarctica and the Arctic (worn onboard, not allowed on land) and countless miles everywhere, dressed up, dressed down, concerts, country walks. Re-soled twice, two pairs of insoles. Much loved but the leather upper is starting to split - can’t fix that.
For years I couldn’t find the same boot anywhere online but ... last week there they were, slightly modified and ... discounted! Quick check on the online supplier, a few clicks and 2 days later my replacement new boots arrive.
Can’t wait to wear them to concerts, pubs & restaurants one day ...
