Netted Iris

 
It was a lovely morning in the park, birds singing, spring flowers, but I was annoyed to see two policemen picking all the Iris reticulata and heating them in a big pot with vegetables. I went over to remonstrate with them and must have appeared agressive, because when I asked what are you cooking, they said Iris stew in the name of the law.
