Under the weather

This thick blanket of low cloud seems to have been around for weeks. The commons are looking completely worn out and no new grazing is coming through yet. The sheep have been taken off and the ponies will move onto the Downs at the end of March - they seems to thrive on the gorse. If you watch Wild About Britain on ITV at 8pm you can see Ray Mears wandering around the area. He visits a couple of my favourite trees and has a look under my reptile covers.
