Non-Alcoholic Kool-Aid

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

Today at work was fun. Gromit held a workshop, and it turned out rather well. The whole team was in a good mood and I left wondering if we have all drunk the Kool-Aid. It seems to me like we have all woken up, out of our conservative office-worker stupor, and caught her enthusiasm.

Do you remember we used to be like this? Back in the 90's when we were all working together? How we would try to make work fun?

It invariably got squashed because fun was 'unprofessional'. And over the years I came to believe it.

Gromit did make us play games about communication which sounds hideous I know, but they turned FILTHY so that was all right then. Then she took us all out for lunch and non-alcoholic drinks.

"Sorry guys. If you want a beer, you're buying it yourself," she apologised. Kainga Ora rules, apparently.

I've put a picture of the team in the extras. See if you can spot which one is Gromit. "Oh, I've got a fair idea," said Caro, when I showed her.

But for my main blip, here is a picture from the train. As you can see, most of my fellow Kiwi commuters are wearing masks at the moment due to the elevated alert level.
