Talula

We went off to the Garden Centre this morning to get a few pretty primroses to bring a bit of colour to our rather dull garden and as we were on the way through the shop we came across this scene. Her name is Talula and she lives in one of the houses near the garden centre but comes into the shop every day to take a nap, she gains entry by meowing at the sliding doors until a member of staff or a customer comes to open them. She always sleeps in the same spot (hence the basket put there for her use) and ignores the shoppers as they browse through the things on the table. If you stroke her while she is napping she doesn't move but you can feel her purring and she seems to love all the attention she gets. Apparently she earns her keep by controlling the rodents that find the bird food put out by the staff, so she is very welcome - I think she is gorgeous :-)
