The Felted Hat

A has just completed her felt hat and wore it in public today. This "Valentine Hat" fits in for the month of February. A watched some YouTube videos before she began the construction. It is felt and wire and wool and embroidery. And held on with a hat pin. I promised I would post when it was completed. 

We were promised snow overnight, but I was pleased to see it did not materialize. We're at 7 C this afternoon. Today was the first day in a long time that I left my boots at home. The mud from snow melt is drying fast. Next we'll have dust!
