Festival Boat

This sculpture is down by the river in Peterborough’s Nene Park. Dated 1988, from the end of the new town corporation legacies. Every so often it gets a new lick of white paint. I walked in a loop taking in the now largely mud free riverside path to check out where I’m going for my Covid jab on a Thursday. Yes I know, it’s only a couple of km from home but I especially wanted to be sure about the bicycle parking.
