Turkey Tail

While on my daily walk, I noticed this colourful fungus that has taken over a tree stump in the local park. Google tells me it is Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) and that it has medicinal uses, particularly in traditional Chinese medicine.

The Springlike feel continues; the world is waking up! Spring flowers are everywhere and trees have a green sheen of leaves emerging. It feels good to think that most of winter is behind us.
