Taking Aim

Forrest ferried me into Leeds to have my first dose of vaccine today. It proved to be a thoroughly efficient and uplifting process. I was met at the door and ushered into the hotel, then asked a few quick questions before being handed over for a remote temperature check. My appointment details were then entered at reception before I was led through to the vaccination station. A few more quick questions and checks and my vaccinator was ready to go. It all happened so fast that I almost forgot to record the moment. Fortunately, her assistant was handy with a camera! I was soon led out via the fire exit, and a little box had duly been ticked on the route back towards normality.

Forrest had to wait no more than five minutes. Everyone was lovely and actually looked like they were enjoying the vital job they're doing. Thanks to you all.

Felt a little spacey towards the end of the evening, with a bit of a headache, which I'm taking as a healthy sign of my body busy at work producing antibodies!
