Newly discovered hellebores
I’ve spent the morning gardening in the sunshine - I think we now have the lovely weather people in the east had yesterday. Been pruning shrubs and climbers mostly. I cut away some old hellebore leaves - and underneath found lots of these gorgeous flowers. I hope we don’t get frost again, as they were protected by those big leaves I removed.
The extra is my apple tree - with all 8 bird feeders. I had 4 until recently - but got more cos I was worried about the birds in the freezing weather. Of course - no birds present- as I’m standing too close. I need a zoom lens to get them. Now I’m back inside there’s a GS woodpecker, a gang of long tailed tits, and a big old wood pigeon who wanders around underneath looking for dropped bits.
My garden is absolutely tiny, but I love it, and there’s always lots to do :)
