Old Harbour
I have blipped this at least once before, at the same time of year, when the winter storms move the sand on the beach and reveal the foundations of the old harbour wall. I was looking at a Christmas present from my sister, a book of old photos of Portobello which included an old picture that showed the harbour walls in the 1830s. The book (published in 2005) says that 'until recently' the remains could be seen at low tides - it's not the regular tides that makes them still visible but winter erosion.
At some point in the next day or two, all things being equal, I should reach 700,000 views on Blipfoto. Not much by the standards of some people as it is only about 180 views per blip, but a bit of a milestone none the less.
