Carrots .....

well, carrot cake.  Ro came over bringing these little cake squares after she baked.  Took my car in to the garage this morning to have the battery replaced.  They found a few "advisory" things that will need doing in the near future but quite honestly, I'm not going anywhere!  The poor old Mini is almost 20 years old now but nicely broken in and a joy to drive.  It's a Cooper S works and I've had it since new.  Electrics are an ongoing problem though.  

Lovely bright day, tried to take Little B to the woods around 4pm but unfortunately the army guns were particularly loud so he did the predictable about turn and we managed to catch hold of him and did a short estate walk.  He heard more loud bangs on the walk and when we got to my middle daughter's house, he halted by her gate with a view to taking cover there ..... we managed to coax him back around the corner to our own house but it was touch and go!
