Birds and beasts

This Bald Eagle and two immature ones were the breakfast entertainment this morning. The halo around the sun in the first extra appeared when we were having lunch at a sheltered nook on the river beach. The coyote in the second extra was there as well. There is a five year jetty restoration project underway, everything is in a bit if upheaval. The coyote was on a construction road, maybe enjoying the warmth of the black plastic behind him. Altogether a great day.
