Tornado Damage

Some of you might have seen news about a tornado that hit Ocean Ridge Plantation in Brunswick County, NC on the early morning of February 16th.  That neighborhood is about 3 miles from our neighborhood.  It is a very upscale place with expensive homes and 4 (four) gold courses.  The tornado killed 3, injured 10, and damaged 60 homes.  A friend told me they were having to decide between tearing down their house or trying to repair it.  These shots (see extra)are down the road from their neighborhood and represent debris that traveled some distance, but not from their houses.  The lady among the 3 killed was a quilter.  One of her quilts was found 10 miles away, and there is a TV appeal for where to return them (12 lost) if found.  Other areas also suffered severe damage, but the focus was on Ocean Ridge.  Tornado winds were 160 mph.
