Both Sides the Tweed
Have you heard the song, Both Sides the tweed, by Dick Gaughin? I was listening to it today while Mr TW was out with the pups. He came home and showed me these pictures he'd taken; literally both sides of the Tweed. From the Scottish side to the English side, with the Cheviots in the distance. Coincidence!
Watched an online concert tonight. The wonderful Bob Fox. Lovely to hear all the favourites sung again
Today I have morphed from "Shuffling Granny" to Granny One Stick. Abandoned the walker, and using just one stick. Result is I can get around more quickly, I'm not stooping like a granny and not walking like Frankenstein's monster!! But it's tiring.
Decided that I'm not going to have my tooth taken out. Rang the dentist to say so and the receptionist said I was booked in for a hygiene appointment, not an extraction. Like. WHAT!? Something lost in translation somewhere., She tried to persuade me to come in for my extraction / hygiene appointment, and she'd sort out what had gone wrong. I don't think so! So I calmly told her that after the anguish I'd been through, I wouldn't be darkening their doors again. Words fail me.
Happy days
