Project 365 day 55: all that's left

This is what's left of the Japanese anemones, which bloomed gloriously, white and pink with rich, gold stamens, from summer into late autumn. I almost used a shot of them yesterday, for Tiny Tuesday, but opted for the prettier and more cheerful catkins instead; I think today's more sombre late afternoon light suits the seed heads, and is a better reflection of my day.
