Hazelnuts to be

A bit damp and dreary today. However the garden is perking up after the recent warm weather. Lots more crocus flowering as well as distinct signs of yellow on daffodil buds. The mahonia still scents the air. The wind was blowing the catkins about, all the better to pollinate the tiny red female flowers on the trees. They are hard to spot but in closeup I think that they look almost cactus like in form.
