It's not so grim up North

By Richy

What a beauty!

This I believe is a Dunnock, I've mistakenly called them sparrows (hedge sparrows)
I set up a bird feeding station earlier in the year to take part in the RSPB garden watch. We've had the odd bird up until then but subsequently have attracted a variety of different birds.
On Saturday I put up my late father in laws bird box....
He said,  "never seen a bloody bird go near it!!"
I hadn't been down the ladder 30 seconds and there was a Blue Tit on the front hole of the box! There seems to be a nesting pair interested ,I'm over the moon, and I'm sure Steve would be too!
This was taken through the window into the front garden.
