A smile for Nannie

I nipped round to see Rachel, Scott & Scarlett this morning before we leave. I was a very naughty Nannie and lifted her out of her crib when she was asleep, but I couldn't leave without having one last cuddle. When I put her back, I sat and watched her and she had this lovely angelic smile on her face :-) It was hard to leave her, but I'll be back to visit mid April, so it's not too long, and I'm sure I'll see a lot of changes in her then.

Alan and I are now heading to our friends who used to live in Belgium and we're staying overnight with them before driving to Brighton tomorrow. We decided to extend our trip slightly with a visit to the seaside, and will head home on Monday afternoon.

We were surprised to find that Brighton is dog friendly and there are hotels where dogs are welcome too! Louis love's the beach so he'll be so excited when we get there, and the weather forecast is looking good!

Anyway, we're just about to have a bit of lunch before packing up the car and hitting the road - we've got about a 2 hour journey so don't want to leave too late.

I may not get much time to catch up with your journals over the next few days, so if not, I'll catch up when I'm home - hope you all have a good weekend!
