Reed Bunting

Another lovely day of weather in Essex, so it would have been rude to waste it indoors! So I went with my parents to the local nature reserve on Canvey, for a little wander and see what we could spot!

It's normally a case of hear the birds there and not see them, but it turned out to be quite productive as we spotted reed buntings, long tailed tits, cormorants and a number of different ducks who I'm still trying to identify!

The problem with getting fresh air though, is the sleepy feeling that follows! Must try and stay awake this afternoon.....
