The essence of winter

Bare trees, dun coloured grass, grey sky - looks like February to me.

Though in reality it's not too bad a day. A bit of light rain but nothing like yesterday. A bit breezy but nothing like yesterday. We took ourselves off for a walk at Cocksburn Reservoir. It was good to get out somewhere different. Only about 3 miles away but up in the hills so the terrain was a change. The trees are further up the road on Sheriffmuir.

The FM's announcement yesterday heralded a very cautious easing of lockdown. Things are planned but at such a slow pace. In general I approve of this approach but it does seem endless. Stay at home will be with us for some time to come.

Garden tidying, yoga and a public Community Council meeting tonight and that's it for Wednesday.
