Noisy Miners
Aust natives, 1 of my least favorite, another being the Rainbow lorikeet. Both for the same reasons: they flock in noisey, argumentative squabbling mobs. They bully other birds, sometimes ones a lot bigger than them, by persistent squawking and sheer numbers.
Beyond the fence is the now unused rail line (still contentious). Town planning is offering it up as green space. In reality once it is opened it will expand the town centre enormously, joining onto the new "Transport hub".
The Noisy miners often, follow my dog and I for short stints, squawking all the while. Sometime one or two dive down to her, though funny at times, they are tiresome creatures.
