The poor trees

Actually went in to work today.  After the session I went into the outside space with the camera looking for detail and close up.  I also wanted to see what work had been done since we have been in lockdown.

Four of the tree on the edge of the property have been cut down to virtually nothing.  I believe they call it topping, it looks brutal.  I also noticed that one of the branches on the old apple tree is almost completely devoid of bark.  I think that branch has died, but it won't have much of a chance now and may affect the rest of the tree.  Makes a lovely textured shot but not much fun for the tree
