Covid vaccine

The chef got his first Covid vaccine today. It is such a relief that were moving in the right direction.

Had a wander around Ogden Water and we we're intrigued by the Christmas tree graveyard. As we walked around we discussed why there would be so many dead Christmas trees. On our way round we came across the people dealing with the trees and they confirmed that our deductions were correct. They use them to build a hedgerow through which the brambles and other plants grow to create a habitat for animals and insects. It also acts as a fence so people and dogs don't swim in the water, also protecting the nesting areas for the ducks. What a wonderful idea.
