Granddad's Three Wheeler
Gales have been blowing all day, easing tonight. There was some sunny spells this morning, and then rain came in time for lunch. A dry evening.
I've been working in the museum all day. Various jobs to get on with, and a video meeting. Mam popped by this evening for a walk around Scalloway. Feet up now.
I headed down the road at lunchtime, and was planning to do some wave watching, but they weren't too spectacular where I was at. However, I did come across granddad Maikie's old three wheeler, reg LPS 956V. Granddad was often seen in it with his dogs, mostly Jenny. All us grand bairns also travelled in it during the 1980s, mostly to go to Sunday school, or a trip to fetch groceries. Must be about 30 years since it was last on the road, good to see it again. Taken at Noness, Sandwick.
