After thawing, the vaccine should be diluted and administered by a healthcare professional and used within 6 hours. Any unused vaccine should be discarded.

The blurb above accompanies our vaccines that we received this morning. On balance receiving this injections, or jags as they are called in Scotland, was one of the biggest highlights of the last 12 months.

The process was excellently administered and well worth the lengthy trek out to Ingliston. Despite the small numbers in the centre at any one time to avoid infections we met three people we knew proving that our neighbourhood was being “done” today!

Back in the day when I was working around the world the familiar trip to EDI was always the first, or last leg, of those long haul treks. Today we saw a number of parked up planes going nowhere and no plane landed or took off while we were in the vicinity of the airport.

Somehow that interface between the world we used to know and the one we now struggle to make sense of collided at the repurposed home of The Royal Highland Show today.
