Today's the day …………………… to go shopping

For the first time in over two months, I actually went shopping today - in an actual shop.

After last Christmas, we decided that we would remove ourselves from the covid equation and really keep ourselves to ourselves - mainly because we could.  So since then, we've just had everything we needed, delivered to the house.  It has been incredibly easy to do that because we are lucky to have good local shops who will deliver - but let's face it, you can find most things online these days.

But today, because plans are underway to guide us slowly back to real life again, I thought I would actually go and buy these in a shop.  I could have ordered them online, but I wondered if it would feel different to be back in a shop.
