Deceptive (Day 2102)

Back down to Holm this morning to finish off a bit of pipe wrangling I started yesterday. Next up, removing a couple of cast iron baths. Both baths were on the top floor and, being cast iron were really heavy. The easiest approach to removing them was 2 minutes with a sledge hammer (extra). Removing one of the baths uncovered what looks like another fairly major structural problem - a floor joist looks to have been sawn through. The rest of the day was spent lugging chunks of bath downstairs, then making a start on running new waste pipe for a replacement bath.
Needing some more supplies, I left a little early, stopping on the way for a quick blip pic. It looks lovely but the picture doesn't capture the 50ish mph wind which has blown all day.
Best bit of the day was my beautiful wife arriving home because her overnight shift has been cancelled.
