David and Goliath

The David is a statue of a baseball player, set just outside Oracle Stadium, where the San Francisco Giants play. He is getting ready to hurl his pitch up at the huge counterweight looming at one end of the Third Street Bridge. I'm not a sports fan (have never been to a professional ballgame of any kind), but this image of the human up against the gigantic took my fancy.
