Thank you for all your nice birthdays greetings to Herman yesterday. Very kind of you. I will show him your greetings next time I meet him. Got a new shiny Ariens snow thrower delivered today. Has light for working in the dark, and heated handle grips for me not to freeze. 
Pure luxury. Has bigger wheels and engine too. The old always faithful Snapper snow thrower had served us without any problem for 35 years (!). It had, however, become somewhat tired. It was time for him (it) to retire. I don`t know if I will start the new one this season though. Almost all snow in the garden has rained away the last few days. Weather forecast for the next days shows melting temperatures and no snow in sight. Sad if you want snow. Good if you welcome the spring. I have one feet in each season right now. .
