A park in the City

Tuesday is the day we walk with both our walking groups - social walking in the morning (I.e. slow pace) and fast walking in the evening.  Tonight we walked through and around Cornwall Park, which was gifted to the people of New Zealand by Sir John Logan Campbell in 1901 (http://cornwallpark.co.nz/about).  There is an urban working farm in the park, so we saw two chickens chilling out in the grass, as well as sheep and cows. The extra photos show the sheep, and a row of rain lilies (https://bulbsdirect.co.nz/products/rain-lilies-zephyranthes-candida-5-25-50-or-100-bulbs) bordering the driveway to a house we walked past on our way to this morning’s walk.  They are such pretty, delicate flowers.
