the agony and the ecstasy

The joy of being the little brother and the effort of the big brother. Zeke is so expressive! Isaac was insisting he could get him higher but it was physics impossible because of the length of the chains on the swing.

Gratefuls:

1. Fish pie;
2. Getting the first day of school under our belts after the holidays;
3. Getting my thoughts down for my essay - academia feels very foreign;
4. Zeke having a call with a teacher so they could see where he’s up to with phonics and reading. I think we were all crazy shocked at just how much he’s absorbed. I felt proud of him but also reassured that he’s not missed out.
