Covesea Beach

Today was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies.  We went to the beach at Covesea near the lighthouse.  You can see caves at the bottom of the cliffs below the lighthouse.  They go quite far back but there's lots of sand built up closer to the ceiling the further you go in.  We went rock pooling and found a starfish.  This is one of our favourite beaches in the area.  The Moray Coastal trail runs along the coast here starting in Forres and ending in Cullen.
