Marland Mill

Monday is supermarket day and I explored the streets nearby for my daily constitutional. I didn’t expect to find a derelict mill just off a main road and a quick internet search revealed that it was originally a corn mill before changing to cotton spinning in the mid 19th century and there had been a mill on the site since the Middle Ages. So it was a much more interesting (and muddy) walk than I had anticipated
