Church On The River Wye

Day 335 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 77 days ago. UK in full lockdown.

I was stuck in waiting for deliveries and a workman doing a snagging issue, so it was lovely to see sunshine when I got out. On our walk yesterday, we walked past St Margaret's Church, Welsh Bicknor, which is on the edge of our village (Goodrich) through the private Courtfield Estate, that is a no through route. The Church is now in the private ownership of the Vaughn family, owners of the Estate. You can see from the blipfoto how close the flooded River Wye has come to the church!

The extra is of Huntsham Bridge on the other side of our village (Goodrich, Herefordshire) and is the only house I know of that's affected.

Additional extra is Youth Hostel, Welsh Bicknor next to St Margarets Church.
