The HG had an hospital appointment today and I went with him.  Of course, I was not allowed in the building, and to pass the time I walked around the perimeter of the buildings.  I passed the Kilbryde Hospice, which was initially the dream of one man, but was supported by many people fund raising over a period of years.  I think everyone in our town at some time would have contributed.  The staff are amazing, and on this sunny and quite warm day they had some of the residents outside, even in beds, to catch some rays.

There is a pathway around the building and it has slabs and bricks with the names of people who have donated time and money to this very worthwhile facility.

Temperature today reached +11C, which is 'way above average for the time of year, but I am not complaining.
