'Short walk' to the Post Office

Despite knowing that the PO is about 3.5 miles from us, in my mind it was a half hour stroll. Not true. About an hour there and an hour back. But the sun was shining, although on the return trip the fog set in (behind me). all in all, a pleasant couple of hours. And I didn't have to start the car!
