Lost at Sea, Lossiemouth
Despite today's adventures, the blip was always gonna be Lost at Sea. Used a days annual leave to visit Dufftown, got lost round a distillery & kirk yard, had smoked venison for lunch, bought expensive whisky. Then went to Lossiemouth for the rehearsed reading of Lost at Sea - a play written by local actress & writer, Morna Young, incorporating stories of local people who had lost their men at sea. Many of these people were in the audience.
Stunningly fantastic. Something special happened tonight in Lossie Town Hall, with the brilliant cast & crew, local community and script. People who had never been to 'the theatre' came along, standing room only, and heard their stories in their own voices - all the loons & quines. It was a privilege to be a tiny part of it.
