Go away squirrels!!!

I try not to use hate in my vocabulary for things I don't like but I do have to use it for squirrels.  They are not nice little critters.  They have nested in our attic area (we fixed that years ago), they destroy birdfeeders and eat any seed that can find and they dig up flower bulbs for food (I lost all my Gerberas one year!).    

So this will be the one and only photo of a squirrel for 2021.   On Saturday I threw away the pine cones that I had been covering with peanut butter and bird seed as I had gotten regular suet cakes.   I just tossed the pine cones in the yard out toward the woods.    Well, this squirrel picked one up and carried it up to the top of the bluebird house and finished off all the good stuff he could find.   Which is okay because it did give me a photo opportunity.   

So now it can leave my yard but I know it will not!    We are already having a battle with them coming on the porch after the feeder.  Every year!

Go away squirrels!   


Thanks for all the well wishes for Jerry.  He is doing okay and we are off to the PT office soon.  That may make it a not so good day.
