Enjoying the Scenery

I was up and out for dawn and, although there wasn’t even a hint of the sun, it was a wonderfully serene scene on Two Tree Island. The water was very calm and a silvery blue light added a shine to everything as I watched the life go by. The extra is of the murmurations of knots that swooped about the estuary with the pier in the background. It’s a scene that no photograph can really do justice to as there is none of the all important transfixing movement. Still, as you can see, there were quite a few birds involved!
