Fraserburgh

The forecast was for a bright and sunny day in our wee corner of the world but it was rather dull early in the morning.  We has set our hearts on having a jaunt up the coast to Fraserburgh so we headed north hoping the sun would break through.

It was a little brighter when we arrived at the seafront and after coffees and treats in the car we strolled along the shoreline.  Next stop was the harbour where I’m always guaranteed to capture some colourful photos.

Finally we drove up to the Kinnaird Head Lighthouse (its name comes from the Gaelic ‘An Ceann Àrd’ meaning ‘the high headland’).  We had a wander around there before visiting the smokehouse to buy freshly caught fish.
