Another shot of my Valentine’s Day roses as they’re just starting to fade now....this one was straight out of the camera....

A wee wander to Morrison’s this morning for some pate and Elmlea cream as our local Lidl doesn’t seem to sell them...a beautiful sunny day...22 degrees in our lounge and no central heating...bliss!

Our new sound bar arrives this afternoon and hubby has finished putting the HDMI cables into some trunking and it’s all painted and looking great...our unit looks quite bare now as it had the Home Theatre DVD player, three speakers on it and sooooo many cables!

Great news about the dramatic reduction in serious infections of covid which seems to be attributed to the vaccination programme.  Disappointed to see that our local council has decided to use only council employees as volunteers to work at the vaccination centres bringing to an end my commitment to being a volunteer.  Apparently they are desperate for more council employees to volunteer but won’t use the pool of trained volunteers that they were already using for the flu clinics.  It seems such a waste of available resources as my step daughter keeps being asked to give up front line social work commitments to volunteer?
