2000 and counting

Despite the mild spring weather we found the city centre on pandemic life support on a midday mission to find my 2000th Blip!

The sound of birdsong echoed cheerily off the empty buildings. The trees in Princes Street Gardens looked fresher than I remember them. The air at street level had lost its acrid taste. There are some benefits from the lockdown.

This evening I had a long phone call with one of my pupils I taught 40 years ago!
